MCD Community Development Corporation
MCDCDC a Non-Profit Organization formed in December 2018 to set up transitional living, training and resources for homeless women and children.
It is difficult to worry about where you will lay your head and how you will care for your children and be physically and mentally prepared to successfully seek gainful employment daily.
Participants will be required to go to classes that will teach everything from mental and physical wellness to budgeting finances and resume writing. They will have access to staffing agencies, colleges, trade schools, counseling and government programs that will help with food, clothing medical and shelter. Key performance indicators have been set in place and would be audited on a regular basis to make sure that participants are abiding by processes and policies set in place to help participants heal and grow mind, body and spirit in a safe environment. The program has four phases based on 12 months. Participants level of participation, growth and ability to follow the guidelines will be reviewed quarterly to be approved to move on to the next phase of the program.
